More than 180 volunteers from Target and the community came together to build a new playground at Middle River Terrace Park in Fort Lauderdale. The new playground will bring nearly 3,000 kids in the local community one step closer to having the play-filled childhood they deserve.
The playground was built through Target and KaBOOM!’s partnership with help from Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation, Middle River Terrace Neighborhood Association and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
Partnering with KaBOOM! is part of Target’s ongoing efforts to help make wellness more affordable, accessible and inspirational for its team members, guests and communities. Through this partnership, more children will have the joyful childhood they deserve.
