On July 22 and 23, Mini Babybel® cheese brought three lucky finalists and their parents on an all-expenses-paid journey to Chicago, home base of the brand’s U.S. corporate headquarters, to help bring their dreams to life through Babybel’s Big Dreamers Contest.
Actress and Dancer Julianne Hough choreographed a special routine for Cleopatra Tacan-Regan from Stockton, CA, who wishes to be a dancer and singer when she grows up.
Professional football player and former University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron surprised Big Dreamer finalist Dylan Myers, from Cartersville, VA, whose dream is to play football for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
Gabriella Campanario, from Issaquah, WA, aspires to be an artist one day and have her paintings hang in galleries and museums. Mini Babybel introduced her to the “it-girl illustrator,” Dallas Shaw, known for her work in publications such as, Lucky Magazine, Brides, Gotham, WWD, and Elle Décor.
Starting on September 7, 2015, consumers can visit Facebook.com/BabybelUS to vote for their favorite finalist to win the grand-prize $50,000 scholarship. Plus, with each vote, Mini Babybel will make a $1 donation to a Boys & Girls Club in the winner’s local market to further support big dreams. The grand-prize winner will be announced on October 5, 2015.
